Spring in Seoul – Part I đŸŒ¸

I’ve been wanting to visit cherry blossom, witnessing it’s bloom and it’s beauty.

And yes, i’ve visited Seoul in April – when the flower blooms at it’s most beautiful.

Due to their short bloom time, Sakura blossoms are a metaphor for life itself: beautiful yet fleeting.

You’ll realize when you’re as old as me to hang on to the good times because they won’t last forever.

Flight from Singapore to Seoul – Incheon International Airport took about 6 hours and 30 minutes. Temperature in Seoul is about 10-ish plus minus degree Celsius, with some showery rain, so do keep yourself warm if you plan to visit Seoul during April.

How to get to Seoul from Incheon International Airport?

  • By limousine bus
  • By airport express train
  • By taxi

Both my friend and i travelled to Seoul by limousine bus. Limousine bus 6015 travels to Myeongdong, Seoul from Incheon Airport. You may purchase your ticket from the ticketing counter – don’t worry but they speak well English ^^

Bus route as below, credit South Korea limousine bus official website.

Bus number & boarding number on the board.

Usually the boarding area is the same as the exit gate number. However if you’re lost, you may refer to the numbering on the board.

You may also refer to their official website to check on the routes & stops.

We reached Myeongdong at around evening time, and we checked into our Airbnb apartment, which can have a view of N Seoul Tower.

**Do note that Seoul requires alot of walking, so it’s recommended to wear comfortable shoes ^^

First meal of the day, MYEONGDONG GYOZA!

Their noodles was very delicious and very chewy – QQ noodles. And their in-house kimchi was very spicy! But this is one of the food which i’m missing up till now.

Each restaurant in Seoul, provides plain water. And they provide gums for you too.

My friend is a super SJ fans, and South Korea is a kpop place, so of course there will be some idol related visits when we’re there. We visited Twosome Coffee after dinner, which is also at Myeongdong. Twosome coffee was operated by Si Won of Super Junior.

You will definitely spot Siwon’s face from far. As the cafe is located in between of the cross junction in Myeongdong.

We were pretty full after dinner, so we only managed to drink some coffee and rested for awhile.

Yummy snacks time – TIME FOR LOTTE MART! Lotte mart is location right beside Seoul Station. It opens from 9am to 12am daily, and closes on every 2nd & 4th Sunday.

What to buy in Lotte Mart? – It depends on your individual liking because i’m a very snacks and junk food person. So i bought alot of cup noodles, chips, seaweeds, crackers & etc.

There are cartons available for you to do packing if you purchase alot of food. Otherwise, i would suggest you to bring along huge shopping bag to carry your stuff 🙂

I’m gonna stopped here, as the post is getting lengthy.

Stay on for my Cherry Blossom post, up next~ Thank you so much for reading~
