Taipei held a very memorable memory to me. As that’s the first country that I’ve visited. Taiwanese are very friendly and helpful. So you will definitely receive good hospitality and customer service from them.
The first time when i’m there, we spent a total of 9 days in Taipei during the month of end August, pre-typhoon i remembered. The weather was scorching hot.
Best period to visit Taipei are April (cherry blossom) or usually end of the year for count down, and the weather are pretty cooling.
We flew from Singapore to Taipei via Jetstar, and we stayed at Just Sleep Hotel Xi Men Ding. The hotel was located right beside Xi Men train station, hence it is very accessible.
Due to being a backdated post, hence my post would be on places recommended for first time traveller to Taipei,
- Taipei 101 – you can have a glimpse of whole Taipei

- Taipei Zoo
- Jiu Fen (九份老街)

- Ping Xi (平溪)

- Qing Tong (箐筒)

Generally travelling expenses in Taipei wasn’t expensive and rather affordable. And all of these above can travelled via train or you may hire private car if you’re travelling somewhere further.
Hope this helped new traveller visiting whom are visiting Taipei (:
