Hey guys~ Welcome back! Do check on my previous post on Seoul, if you hasn’t ☺
During my trips to South Korea, aside from Seoul, i have visited another 2 cities – Jeju and Busan respectively.
How to go to Jeju from Seoul?
There are few ways to visit Jeju from Seoul.
- By taking a domestic flight
- By bus
- By train
- By ferry
Due to timing constraint, both my friend and I decided to book domestic flight from Seoul to Jeju via Jeju Air, it is recommended to book your domestic flight in advance if you’re visiting Jeju during peak period (ie: South Korea school holiday, public holiday, weekends and etc)

Jeju is a very huge island, known for their waterfalls, volcanic landscapes and beach resorts. There isn’t much public transport there so it is highly recommended to travel around Jeju by engaging private tour or booking tour services, depending on your budget and the places which you wanted to cover in Jeju.
When you’re travelling around Jeju, you will be seeing lots of this stone statue, also known as Dol Haerbang. There is a saying that if you touch the nose or stomach ( i don’t really remember), you will get pregnant! 😀

Places to visit on Jeju Island
Jeju is a very large island, so it’s being split into North, South, East & Western part of Jeju. Both my friend and i could only visited Southern & Western part of the island.
What’s in Southern part of Jeju?
- Jeongbang Waterfall
- Cheonjiyeon Waterfall
- Jusangjeolli
- Alive Museum
- Mysterious Road
We’ve visited Miniland too, and each respective buildings of each cities/countries were all mini size! It is super cute, yet i’m amazed by the details made to each buildings!
Conclusion, it is recommended to stay in Jeju for at least 3 days. Because we only had 2 days there, we’re unable to covered everything there. But Jeju’s definitely worth the visit if you would like to be away from the bustling cities for few days during your visit to South Korea~Thank you so much for reading, and i hope you enjoy my post on Jeju ♥♥♥
