Eastern Europe – History

Eastern & Western Europe are distinguished by their culture, religions and history not geographical basis.

One definition describes Eastern Europe as a cultural entity: the region lying in Europe with the main characteristics consisting of Greek, Byzantine, Eastern Orthodox, Russian and some Ottoman culture influences.

Eastern Europe also reminds us about Cold War which occurs after Nazi surrender in May 1945.
