Medieval Town – Český Krumlov

Cesky Krumlov been listed as one of the UNESCO World Heritage site since 1992. It is a town located in the South Bohemian Region of Czech Republic.

Fortunately, the town escaped bombing during World War II which is why the town was very well preserved.

This is a very small photogenic town, taking a walk around is definitely worthy!

Since it’s our day trip to CK and we’ll be leaving for Vienna the following day, my friend and I decided to take bus instead of train. We booked a round trip ticket Prague <-> CK via Regiojet.

The bus ride was very comfortable, seats was very spacious too. They provide in-bus entertainment and beverage as well! PS: I thought I was on a flight!

That particular day when we arrived, it’s the start of heat wave. Temperature is a high as 38 degree Celsius! Ive never come across such a high temperature in my life despite living in a country that only has rain or sun.

Scorching hot bright sun! While walking down the castle, we chance upon few groups of people playing in the stream of river!

Snippets of the town,

I would want to visit CK some day when the weather is less hot, to enjoy the city again~~

Rides back and forth merely take less than 3 hours, if you have extra time in Czech Republic, I would recommend you to visit here too!

Thank you so much for reading~ 🤗
