Finally we’re at 4/5 of my Eastern Europe trip! Super backlog from my trip summer/autumn last year. Great time to reminisce my trip during this period when we couldn’t travel š

In case you’ve missed my previous post, my friend and I travelled to Eastern Europe from Singapore for 18 days 16 nights. Our route as below, you may click on the link to read my previous post š
**Transfer from country to country are by train including day trip to another city. Except for in/out flights from/to Singapore**
Singapore -> Munich, Germany -> Salzburg, Austria with a day trip to Hallstatt, Austria-> Prague, Czech Republic with a day trip to Cesky Krumlov -> Vienna, Austria -> Budapest, Hungary -> Singapore
Which city comes to your mind when you heard “Eastern Europe”? Of course it’s Vienna! Vienna is the capital of Austria. Most of them speaks German but English is fine too š
We travelled to Vienna by train with Regiojet (same carrier when we travelled to CK), riding time is about 4 hours. Another thing that I like about Regiojet is that we can reserve our seats too!
Route: Prague Main Train Station -> Vienna HBF

Our 3 nights stay was at Theaterhotel Wien and the hotel was very grand, service was good and its walkable to train and bus station.

Prior to our trip, we purchased 2 days Vienna Pass and it covers a lot of tourist attractions!
One thing to note, DO remember to reserve under your legal name (aka exact same as your passport) as they will refer to that before they issue the pass to you to prevent hiccups.
You may just scan/flash the pass to the friendly officer when you visit attractions that are covered.

7) Albertina
For those who has interest in arts, may visit Albertina — walkable distance from Hofburg Palace.

Lastly, not forgetting St. Stephen Cathedral!

My take away? Indeed, once you heard Eastern Europe, Vienna would come to your mind! And buying Vienna Pass is more worthy than purchasing entrance ticket separately. It is highly recommended for those whom would like to visit their museums and palaces š
Do check out their website to look out for promos code before purchasing.
Repeat myself again — all purchases online (ie: Vienna Pass, train tickets and etc) to use your legal name upon booking to save yourself from hassle š
Thank you so much for reading~ Do leave your comments if you have any question š
